Premier Roulette

Some Internet casino games are “made to measure” while others are “ready-made”, figuratively; this tailoring lingo aptly describes the games that can or cannot be personified to suit a player’s preferences. Premier Roulette fits in the former category. Premier Roulette, which was initially released in February 2009, is an online casino game with a changeable appearance and an editable design. Basically, Premier Roulette players seek to correctly predict where the roulette ball settles next after they have spun it.

A product of Microgaming Software Systems, the Isle of Man-based games developer has reinvented the roulette game as we know it. Microgaming lists Premier Roulette alongside eight other related roulette variants, including Multiwheel Roulette and Multiplayer Roulette.

Premier Roulette: Game Review
Premier Roulette has three major parts: the main screen, a statistics section, and a layout that allows the players to customize their gaming experience by choosing from a set of skins. The main screen contains the user interface, a virtual roulette wheel at the top centre, a betting grid at the bottom centre, and a racetrack at the bottom left.

Ordinarily, the Premier Roulette betting grid has some 36 numbers, plus a green “0”. These numbers form two major patterns; one pattern comprises of three 12-number groups (1-12, 13-24, and 25-36). The other pattern has three columns whose numbers are in the 3, 6, 9, 12…/2, 5, 8, 11…/ and 1, 4, 7, 10…sequence. These numbers alternate between black and red.

First, the Premier Roulette players choose from the oval chips that are directly below the betting grid. Premier Roulette has betting chips that range from $0.25 to $1K, including $0.50, $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $200, and $500. The next step is tapping anywhere on the grid or track to position the selected chips. “Undo”, “Redo”, and “Rebet” are some of the quick action buttons. Lastly, players click the “Play” icon at the bottom right. The roulette wheel then spins after which a prompter mentions the results.

At $0.25, lone numbers in Premier Roulette have the lowest minimum bet; the highest maximum bet is $1000. When the cursor is hovered over a particular part on the betting grid, it shows the associated stake, payout, returns, and minimum and maximum bets. The payouts in Premier Roulette are low for easy predictions and high for difficult predictions. For instance, betting on even chances offer X2, while betting on a particular number like, let’s say, 12 offers X36.

Optional features such as video zoom, win details, speed regulation, and adjusting the autoplay are interesting; however, the players will be wowed by the many possibilities of customizing the Premier Roulette software. Premier Roulette has appealing sounds and graphics, especially the glossy, mahogany-colored and diamond-studded roulette wheel.

Premier Roulette: Game Strategy
Premier Roulette has a return to player rate of 97.30%, and the house edge is 2.70%. Although Premier Roulette is largely a game of chance, it is widely believed that a progressive betting strategy like doubling bets every time a player wins, or a non-progressive betting strategy such as betting the same amount repeatedly or betting on five neighbors, can tilt the scales in a player’s favor.
