Spectacular Wheel of Wealth Slot

Many casino games developers, whose market target is especially profiteering casino operators, place extreme emphasis on bet placement features, rather than the gaming concept; therefore, it might be a surprise to see a casino game, such as Spectacular Wheel of Wealth, with game concept-oriented game mechanics. Spectacular Wheel of Wealth, which was released in June 2003, is a slot game developed by Microgaming Software Systems.

It is variously categorized under classic and retro themes by casino operators, but Microgaming, headquartered in Isle of Man, branded it as carnival-themed. Players aim at matching the game logo, “Bar” and “7” symbols, and a ticket on its reels in order to win their respective payouts.

Spectacular Wheel of Wealth: Game Review
There are nine types of winning-related symbols in Spectacular Wheel of Wealth namely the game “Spectacular” logo, a single “BAR”, “ANY BAR” a double “BAR”, a triple “BAR”, a “Spectacular” wild symbol, a “7”, a ticket named “Admit One”, and the “SPIN” scatter symbol. A triple-reeled game, Spectacular Wheel of Wealth is fitted with one winning line.

Spectacular Wheel of Wealth has the simplest game procedure imaginable. There are only two bet sizes—$1.00 and $2.00. To bet the lowest bet (one coin), players click the “Bet One” button; to bet the highest bet (two coins), they press the “Bet One” button twice, or press “Bet Max”, or switch back and forth the yellow columns in the payout section. Thereafter, players click “Spin”, but “Bet Max” is also a bet-and-spin button.

Spectacular Wheel of Wealth has two types of payouts—regular payouts and bonus round payout. These are the regular payouts for the $1.00 and $2.00 bets, respectively: at least one “Admit One” ticket offers X2, and X4; two “Admit One” tickets offer X3, and X6; matching three single “BAR” signs gives X5, and X10; matching three “Admit One” tickets offers X10, and X20; three matched double “BAR” signs have X30, and X60; three matching triple “BAR” signs offers X50, and X100; three matching “7” give X100, and X200; and three matching “Spectacular” game logos offer X2000, and X5000.

The non-progressive jackpot of $1000 is called Spectacular Wheel of Wealth Bonus; it is triggered by three “Spin” signs on the reels strictly using the $2.00 bet, and supplements winnings on the betting line. Strangely, the non-progressive jackpot is lesser than the highest regular payout.

The Spectacular Wheel of Wealth software lets players switch from regular to expert modes. Although the autoplay in the expert mode has optional X5 and X10 by default, it can be customized to support up to 500 automated spins. The developer failed terribly at using sound effects to its advantage, except for the monotonous spinning slot machine sound effect. Spectacular Wheel of Wealth has spectacular graphics, particularly the ballet mistresses dressed in dancing briefs.

Spectacular Wheel of Wealth: Game Strategy
The return to player rate in Spectacular Wheel of Wealth is 96.32%, while the house edge is 3.68%. It is harmless to experiment with the so-called slot machine playing tips like bankroll management, but the bottom line is that Spectacular Wheel of Wealth is a game of chance.
