Astro Roulette

Imagine a roulette variant that references the meteorological seasons, is fused with the classical elements synonymous with the alchemy philosophy, and lets players fantasize with horoscope.

Such is the diversity behind the inspiration that birthed Astro Roulette—thanks to the Brighton-based gaming software company called 1X2 Gaming. The term “Astro” in name Astro Roulette is a truncation of the noun “astrology”, which is a dominant theme in the game. Astro Roulette is an entry in the company’s roulette-based product line that also includes another similar game called Chinese Roulette.

No doubt Astro Roulette’s multi-faceted origin offers an unparalleled gaming experience to the players who, customarily, hope that spinning the roulette ball will get it onto a favourable spot.

Astro Roulette: Game Review
There are three categories of the symbols, which are twenty-one in total including the 8-like Infinity symbol, used in Astro Roulette. There are symbols based on the classical elements, zodiac symbols, and meteorological seasons-based symbols. The elements consist of Air (Wind), Earth, Fire and Water; they are located at the lowest column in the Sign Board.

The meteorological-oriented symbols—from left to right: spring, summer, autumn, and winter—are on top of the former column. The zodiac symbols at the centre of the board are arranged in four rows. The first row has Aries, Taurus, and Gemini. Second: Crab, Lion, and Virgo. Third: Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. Fourth: Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

When playing Astro Roulette on an Android device, the software prompts players to play in “Fullscreen” mode, leading to the Sign Board where they place the necessary bets then press the “SPIN” icon. Press a betting chip then press the corresponding icon at the top right side of the Sign Board to place the bets. When pressed once or twice (removes the last bet or every bet), the “X” icon substitutes for the “Undo” button in suchlike variants. The minimum bet and maximum bet in Astro Roulette are $0.50 and 2500.00, respectively.

The betting chips below the board, which are revealed progressively by swiping them from right to left and vice versa, are between $0.25 and $100, including $0.5, $1, $5, $10 and $25 options. Astro Roulette payouts for the Inside bets are 11:1, 5:1, 2:1, 8:1, and 4:1 for the Straight 2Up, Splitting, Corner, Infinity +1, and Infinity +2, respectively. Payouts for the Outside bets are 2:1, 3:1, 3:1, and 1:1 for the row, season, element, and positive/negative numbers, respectively.

Although the drop-down icon next to the home icon grants access to the user guide, History, and (un)muting sounds, it makes the software irritating because of its lack of an icon that can command it to return directly to the sign board afterwards–players return to home page to load the game again.

Astro Roulette supports various platforms, including iOS, Windows, and Android; it is also available on desktop computers and mobile devices. Astro Roulette has cool graphics, especially its roulette wheel whose vividness hints at Islamic interior design.

Astro Roulette: Strategy
Astro Roulette’s RTP is 97.30%, whereas the house edge of the game is 2.70%. Forget about mastering strategies; instead, let your superstitious side take over because Astro Roulette, a game of chance, is all about playfully experimenting with superstition.
