Oasis Poker is a variant of Caribbean Stud Poker developed in the former Soviet Union before it was prohibited. It remains popular among casino enthusiasts in Europe and Northern Africa. The player makes an ante wager and an optional bonus side bet. At the beginning of the game, the dealer and the player get five cards each, with the players cards all facedown and one of the dealer’s cards facing up.

Also this is the point that defines the main difference between this game and Caribbean Stud Poker. The player can discard all the cards he likes and replace them with new cards in order to improve their hand. The player is however required to pay for this switch. The cost of this switch varies depending on the number of cards that they are willing to exchange.

If the player exchanges one or five cards, they are charged a price equal to the ante bet. For two cards or four cards, the price is two times the ante bet. To exchange three cards, the charge is three times the ante bet. After exchanging the cards, the player has to choose between raising and folding, but there is an exception where the player raises, in which they have to raise.

If they choose to raise, they must add a raise bet worth two times the ante bet. When the player has raised, the dealer reveals his hand. The dealer must be in possession of at least an ace king high failure to which he loses and the player gets a payout equal to the ante bet as well as all the raise bets. If the dealer’s hand is better than the player’s hand, the player loses the bet.

If there is a tie, all bets push. When the player wins, he earns money on his or her ante bet as well as the raise bet, depending on the strength of their hand. The best possible outcome is a royal flush which pays at 100 times. A straight flush has a payout of 50-1 and a four of a king which pays of at 20-1. A full house, a flush and a straight have payouts of 7-1, 5-1, and 4-1 respectively. On the lower side, a three of a kind, a two pair and one pair or less pay out at 3-1, 2-1 and 1-1 respectively.
