Three Of The Best Music Slots

One thing you’ll notice when it comes to online slot machines is that so many of them use licensed themes. It can be based on movies, television shows, game shows, video games, and much more. This makes online slots visually fun to play as you recognize the symbols used, get immersed in the world, and play bonus games related to the type of entertainment that you enjoy.

One issue though is the music. Music is a big part of online slot machines but it can be quite frustrating hearing the same video game theme music over and over. That’s why I much prefer slots that are licensed based on actual musical acts. When you play those, you get the best of both worlds. You get the visual experience as well as the audio experience.

Today I wanted to highlight three of the best online slots for music fans. The following titles were all licensed, developed, and published by NetEnt, one of the leading software providers in the industry today, and are available at many online casinos, including STS Casino.

Guns N’ Roses Slot:

I’m a big fan of Guns N’ Roses, so maybe I am a bit biased… but as soon as I explored the STS website, I knew this was the slot machine I had to play first. I was not disappointed.

The slot machine opened with Welcome to the Jungle and it’s the actual song; not a cover at all. Other songs I heard while playing included classics like November Rain, Paradise City and Sweet Child O’Mine. This got me immersed into the slot right away and I couldn’t stop playing. The visuals for the Guns N’ Roses slot are excellent, with the 10-A symbols covered in Roses, and various GNR related icons such as singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash.

There is a bonus game involved, with the symbol being an LP Record. The bonus wheel is a fun game where you get to spin a wheel of fortune and can win various prizes. There is also the skull crucifix from Appetite for Destruction which functions as a wild symbol.

One of the best music slots I’ve ever played and highly recommended.

Jimi Hendrix Slot:

First impressions are everything and the Jimi Hendrix slot knocks it out of the park right from the beginning. It starts with an animated version of Jimi playing Voodoo Child and when the introduction is done, and the slot begins, Foxy Lady goes out over the speakers. Phenomenal!

The graphics for this game are all laid back “flower power” style with peace symbols, flowers, love hearts, and more. It’s a nice retro experience and very pleasant to look at. Hendrix is the jackpot symbol, and if you get three or more you can win up to 400x your initial bet.

There are numerous special features within the Jimi Hendrix slot machine. If the Purple Haze symbol lands on the first reel, every single low-value symbol on the board is immediately turned into a wild. Then there’s the guitar re-spin feature, which is triggered when four or more red Fender guitars appear on screen. It also offers a few other extras such as the mystery pick ’em bonus.

This is a 5-reel, 20-pay line slot, and every time you get a big win, a graphic of Jimi in the clouds shows up as it tallies it up and he rocks away. It makes those big wins much more fun.

Ozzy Osbourne Slot

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the slot named after the Prince of Darkness, but I absolutely loved it. It opens with Mr. Crowley to give a real ominous feel to it, and all of the symbols are what you’d expect; Ozzy in various different guises looking creepy as hell!

They really got into their inner Ozzy when creating this slot. There are also various other symbols such as skulls and ravens, but one really cool extra is the Bonus Bet feature, which triggers many free spins, bigger multipliers, and more chances at special features.

This was a lot of fun to play, with all of the games and the way they worked. Within a few spins, I unlocked a scatter symbol that hit a re-spin feature that turned one Ozzy symbol into a wild and got me a big win. A bet of 40 turned into 1200+. Then in what you would expect from an Ozzy slot: after the big win is calculated, a bat smashes into the screen and sends blood everywhere. Incredible!

These are three excellent slot machines and are highly recommended for any music-loving slot fans out there.
