Boomanji

Boomanji is a fireworks-inspired html5 video slot that developer Betsoft released on May 20, 2013. Themes: fireworks display and diverse firecrackers. Betsoft-owned Boom Bucks (April 2014) is similar. Named after its booming sounds, Boomanji’s rival games include: Firecrackers (August 2016) from Nucleus Gaming, Wild Rockets (October 2012) from NetEnt, and Fantastic Fireworks (May 2018) from IGT.

Seven symbols (bunch of skyrockets, “mega boom” firecracker, “turbo bomb” cherry bomb, “boom” skyrocket, “ka pow” firecrackers barrage, paired cone firecrackers, and pink cherry bomb) require three, four, or five winning combinations.

Boomanji Game Characteristics
Boomanji has a transparent and frameless 5X3 grid, with thin purple partitions. This grid is embedded on a horizon that is silhouetted against a starry dark purple sky. The grid’s curved white margins are numbered, showing the game’s ten two-way paylines (six options).

There are eleven coin denominations, ten bet levels, 1210 bet sizes, eight symbols, free re-spin, extra free re-spins, expandable crate, locked symbols, neither free games nor bonus game, no side game, and regularly pays from $5.00 to $2500.00.

Boomanji has a special symbol among its seven ordinary symbols. The substituting wild is a wooden storage crate containing the featured firecrackers.

Ordinary symbols: bunch of three striped green, blue and red skyrockets; a cylindrical striped blue-and-cyan “mega boom” firecracker; a dark purple “turbo bomb” cherry bomb; a red-and-yellow “boom” skyrocket; a green-and-blue “ka pow” firecrackers barrage; paired striped yellow-and-red cone firecrackers; and a starry pink cherry bomb.

The Boomanji coin denominations: $0.01, $0.02, $0.03, $0.04, $0.05, $0.10, $0.15, $0.20, $0.25, $0.50, and $1.00. The bet per line (bet levels) are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. The active paylines: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or 10. Minimum bet: $0.01. Maximum bet: $100.00.

The $100.00 bet yields these Boomanji payouts for three, four, and five winning combinations. The bunch of skyrockets pay $500.00, $2000.00, and $2500.00. The “mega boom” firecracker pays $250.00, $600.00, and $1200.00. The “Turbo bomb” cherry bomb cracker pays $100.00, $250.00, and $600.00.

The “boom” skyrocket pays $80.00, $200.00, and $500.00. The “ka pow” firecrackers barrage pay $70.00, $150.00, and $400.00. The cone firecrackers, or pink cherry bomb pays $50.00, $100.00, and $250.00.

Whenever it is exclusively on any of the three inner reels, the crate displaces the other two ordinary symbols drawn beside it on a reel. The exploding crate leaves behind a colorful “wild” reel that potentially completes multiple winning combinations to form big wins; the “wild” reel gets locked for one, or two, or three free re-spins, before disintegrating into three separate crates. Boomanji’s non-progressive jackpot is $250000.00.

The good Boomanji software features: supports desktops, and a smartphone’s landscape and portrait modes; quick spin; and 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, and 100 autospins. Sound effects: elation, whizzing, and crackling. The animated 3D graphics include dolly zoom, glistening, and symbol-shattering firecrackers that culminate in colorful coconut fireworks displays.
