7UP!

7UP! is a June 2017 a fruity video slot developed by Endorphina. Themes: card game and classic slot symbols. Similar games from Endorphina: Fresh Fruits (June 2014), Wild Fruits (March 2015), More Fresh Fruits (June 2015), Lucky Streak 2 (December 2018), Sparkling Fresh (January 2015), Lucky Streak 2 (November 2018), Ultra Fresh (October 2014), and Lucky Streak 3 (February 2019). Few rival games of 7UP!: 7UP! (July 2017) from Gamevy, Sizzling 777 (February 2016) from Wazdan, and Hot 777 (June 2012) from Wazdan.

The name “7UP!” is a truncation of the noun seven-up that refers to the card game alternatively called Old Sledge. All symbols require three winning combinations in the regular game, while the bonus game requires nine combinations.

7UP! Game Characteristics

7UP! has a spacious black 3X3 grid, nine symbols, lacks free games, neither a wild nor a scatter, five adjustable paylines (across the top, middle and bottom of the grid; two diagonally), a side game, a bonus round, six win multipliers, six denominations, 30 lowly total bets, and dynamic regular payouts ranging from $0.20 to $20.00.

The 7UP! symbols: a pair of golden stars; a pair of one and a half watermelons; a pair of red cherries; a pair of lemons; a pair of purple 7s; a pair of white-and-turquoise single “BAR”; a pair of plums; a pair of strawberries; and a pair of oranges
.
The 7UP! coin values: $0.01, $0.02, $0.03, $0.04, $0.05, and $0.10. Each of the five pay lines yields the following total bets. One active payline: $0.01 (minimum bet), $0.02, $0.03, $0.04, $0.05, and $0.10. Two active paylines: $0.02, $0.04, $0.06, $0.08, $0.10, and $0.20. Three active paylines: $0.03, $0.06, $0.09, $0.12, $0.15, and $0.30. Four active paylines: $0.04, $0.08, $0.12, $0.16, $0.20, and $0.40. Five active paylines: $0.05, $0.10, $0.15, $0.20, $0.25, and $0.50 (maximum bet). Note: an entry under “rules” claims the maximum bet $50.00, which is seemingly erroneous.

Based on the $0.50 maximum bet, here are the 7UP! payouts for three: 77 pay $77.00; stars pay $20.00; watermelons pay $5.00; red pay $3.50; lemons pay $2.50; “BAR” pay $7.70; grapes pay $4.00; strawberries pay $3.00; oranges pay $2.00.

Nine similar symbols unlock the so-called “7UP Bonus” and their respective regular wins are multiplied by X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, or X7. This Bonus round is deactivated after a win multiplier appears or after the slop player has exhausted the maximum seven allocated spin chances.

The risk side game allows the slot players to gamble their regular winnings (by pressing “take risk”; or not gamble by pressing “take wins”) in a bid to double the winnings. Selecting a card valued higher than the dealt card doubles the wins, while selecting a card valued lower than the dealt one annuls the wins. The non-progressive jackpot of 7UP! is $7777.

The 7UP! software is good. The theme instrumental is old school; there are coins clinking and jingling sound effects. The 3D graphics are not animated.
Luck in 7UP!

7UP! is a game of chance with two sets of return to player rates and two sets of house edge. Regular game: RTP rate is 96%; house edge is 4%. Risk game: average RTP rate is 84%; average house edge is 16%.
