What Is Bulldog Poker?

We received this question a lot – people asking about the poker room Bulldog Poker. People wanting to know about the Bulldog Poker Bonus or Bulldog Poker Rakeback.

After some intensive research we can tell you that there is actually no poker room entitled Bulldog Poker. You may read some websites that said there was a Bulldog Poker Room and that it was closed – but they are misleading and incorrect websites.

What you are actually looking for is Bodog Poker. In 2009 Bodog Poker, which also has a casino and sportsbook, started running lots of radio ads and started getting their name out there in countries outside the US. People basically misheard the name – when they heard Bodog Poker they actually thought they were hearing Bulldog Poker.

So that’s why you can’t find Bulldog Poker online anywhere – because there is no such room.

However that’s okay, because you were never looking for Bulldog Poker anyway – you were looking for Bodog Poker. Bodog is the room with the great poker tournaments, with the huge amount of poker fish thanks to the sportsbook, and with the excellent 110% to $550 new player bonus.

Bodog is also a great poker room to play at, very trustworthy, and even accepts Americans. Their software isn’t the greatest, but it’s worth it just to play with the wide amount of bad players that Bodog has to offer.

So whatever you were looking for when you were looking for Bulldog Poker – Bodog has it.

Can Americans play at Bodog Poker?

Although Bodog Poker no longer is accepting US players, their sister site Bovada Poker warmly welcomes Americans onto the virtual felt. Bovada Poker complies with the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) so you can feel safe playing there.

Other sites that welcome US residents include Aced Poker and Cake Poker.
